Maroon Bells Colorado Classic

Aspen, CO

North and South Maroon Peak are viewed from an area near Maroon Lake. The Maroon Bells are one of the most photographed icons in all of Colorado as well as the western United States. These two 14'ers serve as a backdrop for the Colorado town of Aspen. Snow has already coated the peaks of the Maroon Bells as the Aspen trees below the 'Bells' display their fall foilage. The Maroon Bells are located in the White River National Forest and act as a gateway to some of the best hiking in the Aspen area.
